Welsh Rugby Interest: Silver hallmarked coffee & tea set comprising coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug all hallmarked London 1891 by maker Charles Boyton. In large presentation oak case and all pieces engraved to "C.P. Lewis Esq by the members of the Llandovery Agricultural Society on the occasion of his marriage." C.P. Lewis played as full-back for wales in five Rugby internationals. He was captain of Wales on his debut against Ireland in 1882. He won five caps. In 1881 he was elected vice president of the Welsh Rugby Union.
