Ornamental silver Trowel with ivory handle - The spade - Birmingham hallmarked silver by T.W dated 1900 whilst the handle and banding is Sheffield dated 1895. The Spade is highly decorated with foliate scrolls and engine turned detailing. Written to centre 'Presented to Mr T D Griffiths on his laying a Memorial Stone at the New Sunday School in connection with the United Methodist Free Church - Wednesbury - Presented by CWD Johnson Architect & Geo. Summerhill Ltd Builders 2nd July 1901.
